The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) undertaking a system-wide review of its operations in order to minimize an anticipated budget shortfall.  Every effort is being made to preserve direct classroom programming and services in support of student achievement.

Potential cost savings were identified through altering school bell times in order to increase the efficiency of our transportation system. The board is asking Millen Woods families to provide feedback through an online survey, about how the proposed bell time changes would affect the local school community. This survey is now available via the Board website: http://www.wrdsb.ca/bell-times-consultation. Please complete it within the next week. Another avenue for input is School Council. Our next council meeting is Wednesday, November 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the library. Interested parents are encouraged to attend.

 Current bell time: school start at 8:50 a.m.
