The highlight of our month so far was a visit from author Mike Wade on January 8.  Mr. Wade, creator of the popular “And then it Happened”  series explained why he enjoys writing humorous stories, and how he comes up with his ideas.  He stressed that anyone can be a writer, not just stereotypically “bookish” people, and he  inspired our students to tap into their own creativity as writers!  His message was a  great start to the new year.
