Dear Parents and Guardians:

There are a number of students at Millen Woods P.S. who have a life-threatening allergy to nuts, eggs and shellfish.

When packing your child’s snack and lunch, please avoid sending peanut butter sandwiches, nuts or other products containing nuts, or eggs (such as egg salad sandwich, boiled egg and WOW Butter where possible as it looks very much like peanut butter).

In addition, we would like to remind all of our families that we do discourage the bringing in of food items for various celebrations throughout the year because of the allergy alert protocol within all of our schools.
