Our annual Week of Giving will be beginning on December 8. In the past we have heard from the recipient agencies that our donations have made a significant difference in their work. Please consider donating as generously as possible to the following local charities:
Munchkin Monday, December 8— Baby items such as formula, wipes and diapers, to be donated to Mary’s Place
Toiletries Tuesday, December 9— small items such as shampoo, soap, and toothpaste, also to be donated to Mary’s Place and other family shelters
Woolly Wednesday, December 10—warm adult socks (new or gently used and clean, wool are the best, but sports socks work too) to be donated to the Out of the Cold program. (Mr. Kavanaugh has been a faithful volunteer with this program for years. Several sites have closed, but the church were he works still runs the program.)
Thoughtful Thursday, December 11—no donations, but an invitation for students, community and staff to express appreciations to one another
Food Bank Friday, December 12 —Canned goods and non-perishables.
