April 8th is an important day when students at Millen Woods are joining with people around the world to take a stand against bullying. Kids who are bullied and who bully others can face serious, lasting problems. Bullying is unwanted, disrespectful, and aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying can take place online and in person in different forms. It can be verbal, social, and/or physical.

On April 8th, we are encouraging you and your kids to wear pink. Please spread the word about this important day to your friends and family. Let’s work together to show our support of students who are being bullied and stand up against bullying!
